The NFL's Pro Football Hall of Fame will be moving a portion of its collection into Union Station this summer.

The "Gridiron Glory" exhibit is a self described "best-of" collection of the full Hall of Fame in Canton, Ohio. More than 200 items like former Denver Broncos quarterback John Elway's jersey and vintage film footage of Super Bowls past will fill the exhibition.

Missouri Sen. Paul LeVota of Independence, Mo., has put together a task force that will be looking at how Kansas City can improve its infrastructure in order to attract the Super Bowl.

In 2006, Kansas City was turned down to host this year's game because voters didn't approve a tax to create a removable roof for Arrowhead Stadium.

But last year, Super Bowl XLVIII was held in New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, which doesn't have a roof. LeVota says that gives him hope that Kansas City can win over the NFL for the benefit of the area.

Andy Reid and the Kansas City Chiefs have a contract agreement, according to several media reports.

Matt Cassel is out and Brady Quinn is in as starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. Coach Romeo Crennel made the announcement on Monday.

Crennel emphasized that he is not blaming Cassel for the team's failures, but says no other changes would have had as broad an impact. He said he made the change that would change the dynamic of the team the most.

Kansas City Chiefs head football coach Romeo Crennel confirmed today that quarterback Matt Cassel has a concussion as the result of play in Sunday's loss to the Baltimore Ravens.

Though the nation's football fans — from President Obama and Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney to the average couch quarterback — are begging the two sides to settle their contract dispute so that regular NFL referees can come back to work, there seems to be no clear reason to think that's going to happen in time for this week's games.

The 37-10 blowout loss on Sunday to the New York Jets sealed Todd Haley's fate with the Kansas City Chiefs.  Late Monday morning, they announced that Haley was out.

The final straw was the loss to the Jets. It was another one-sided loss, the fifth by more than 25 points. In a written statement, Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt said the team has "not made meaningful progress" and the organization felt it was "necessary to make a change."
