Kaplan expects more and more waves of refugees to sweep the globe. This week's Local Listen features jazz vocalist and Great Bend, Kansas, native Karrin Allyson.

Robert D. Kaplan will present the fall Cockefair Chair lecture, 'Refugees in a World of Anarchy,' in Pierson Auditorium on the UMKC Campus at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 16. For ticketing information, visit UMKC.edu.
