Somali Immigrants Worries Emporia Locals

Emporia, KS – The workforce in Emporia, Kansas has been changing in recent years. And over the past year-and-a-half, hundreds of refugees from Somalia have come to the eastern Kansas town to live and work. The influx of these new immigrants has caused friction with some of the longtime locals. And now, some Emporia citizens are wondering whether their way of life and quality of health are being jeopardized by their new neighbors. Kansas Public Radio's Bryan Thompson reports.
