Suicide rates in Kansas have been on the rise for over a decade, and one group is hoping to change that. Headquarters Counseling Center in Lawrence offers free crisis support to residents across the state. They also answer calls to the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline. Today, we sat down with two volunteers to hear about their experiences working the hotline.
