Q&A with KC School Board President after Superintendent Loses Job

By Delores Jones

Kansas City, MO – After a year of uncertainty, on Wednesday, the Kansas City Missouri school board voted eight to one against renewing Superintendent Bernard Taylor's contract when it ends in June. David Smith, President of the Kansas City Missouri school board, speaks with host Delores Jones about student drop-out rates, overall academic achievement and administrative turnover.

Then, a junior from Lincoln Prep emails KC Currents about over-crowding at the school this year.
