New Letters on the Air: Hilda Raz

A literary editor since she graduated from college, Hilda Raz became a public poet after she was sent by Prairie Schooner to the Breadloaf writing conference to represent the magazine, and there, found her own poetic voice as well.

Kansas City, MO – Raz talks about balancing the roles of editing, teaching and writing, and her books that record her experiences with motherhood, surviving breast cancer and coming to terms with her child's transsexuality. She reads from her books All Odd and Splendid, What Happens and Trans.
