Kansas City, MO – On Wednesday, December 9th, a new local website called KC Free Press launched into cyberspace. For an online news and information venture, it's a pretty big operation. KC Free Press already has 20 paid contributing writers, and includes video and photo slide shows. And it's attracted the attention of a number of bloggers. KC Free Press's published articles so far include everything from the race to fill Dennis Moore's Congressional seat to exercise routines for the snow-bound.

KCUR's Alex Smith stopped by the offices of the KC Free Press to find out more. when he spoke with Publisher Jeff Henry, Executive Editor Jay Sentler and Editor-In-Chief Lucas Wetzel.
