Missouri Gubernatorial Candidate Profile: Democrat Claire McCaskill

By Maria Carter

Kansas City, Missouri – Democrat Claire McCaskill is running against Republican Matt Blunt for Missouri Governor. On the campaign trail, McCaskill has touted her experience in the Missouri legislature and as Jackson County prosecutor. Her current post is as State Auditor. If elected, McCaskill would be the first female governor in Missouri, but she says gender is not an issue in her campaign. KCUR's Maria Carter has this report.
