Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre
Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre

This week, a silly musical about menopause and a documentary film on a lesser known star of the civil rights movement.By Sara Lerner

Kansas City, MO – Menopause the Musical at the American Heartland Theatre gets women rejoicing in the woes of mid-life and a collaboration of UMKC departments and community organizations brings a free screening of Brother Outsider to the Tivoli Theater. It tells the life story of one important activist and civil rights leader, Bayard Rustin.

The UMKC Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Initiative is one sponsor of the Brother Outsider screening.
