Kansas City Ballet Presents Parody of Broadway Theatrics, Russian Ballet and the Mob

The new season of the Kansas City Ballet is its last at the Lyric Theatre before next fall's move to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

Kansas City, MO – The new season of the Kansas City Ballet is its last at the Lyric Theatre before next fall's move to the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts.

To celebrate the send-off, the company is staging three works of the late George Balanchine, including a piece that requires more acting and fewer ballet formalities than most dances the company performs. KCUR's Steve Walker reports.
