Op Eyes (2008) at the Nerman
A large-scale projection on a two-story glass cube at the entrance to the Regnier Center at Johnson County Community College will soon be on display. It's a visible sign of the campus philosophy of integrating art into the daily lives of students and visitors.

Kansas City, MO – In 2007, before the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art opened, director Bruce Hartman commissioned the digital animation piece, called Op Eyes, from Kansas City based-artist Barry Anderson. A smaller version is currently on display in the museum's New Media Gallery.
Op Eyes by Barry Anderson opens 6:00 - 8:30 pm, Friday, November 21, in the Oppenheimer New Media Gallery, 2nd floor of Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art. A reception will accompany the opening. The exhibition will be on view through February 1, 2009.
