Delaney Sisters: Having Our Say

Bessie and Sadie Delaney were born in the late 1890's in North Carolina. A hundred years later, they were living in upstate New York, and a New York Times reporter began a series of interviews with the two extraordinary women, who had each lived through a century of United States history. Their story became an oral history, then a book, and then a play that eventually made it to Broadway. By Ty Chandler
