The Beautiful Bodies Work It

On the second half of this Thursday's Central Standard, meet energetic lead-singer Alicia Solo. Her hip-thrusts and dance moves have sent her home with cuts, bruises and chipped teeth.

She and band mate Thomas Becker share why the Beautiful Bodies are vying to cut a new album with a multi-platinum selling producer.

They're a group full of contradictions. Aggressively self-promotional? Like all unsigned bands. Full of rock stage antics? That's the best part. Dedicated to several local charities? Why, yes. In possession of a guitarist who's a Harvard law grad that represents victims of a Bolivian massacre? Truth. Destined for rock stardom? Well, that's TBD.

The Bodies have a chance to work on their next album with John Feldman, a producer who's worked with the likes of Panic! at the Disco, The Used, Story of the Year, and the Plain White T's. The Beautiful Bodies hope that a current Kickstarter fundraiser will get them to L.A. to work with this legendary producer.

COMING UP:
