Free Comic Book Day (Get a new free comic book), Saturday at participating comic shops. Admission: Free
 

The Piano Guys (Piano and cello classical/pop music mash-ups), 8 p.m. Saturday at The Midland, 1228 Main. Tickets: $32.50 to $42.50
 

Cinco de Mayo Kansas City Chihuahua Parade (All canines in costume welcome in pursuit of Guinness World Record for largest dog parade), Noon Sunday at Barney Allis Plaza, 12th and Wyandotte. Admission: Free ($5 dog registration)
 

Polski Day (Polish food, music, dancing), Noon to 7 p.m. Saturday (parade starts at noon) at All Saints Parish Hall and grounds, 811 Vermont, Kansas City, Kan. Admission: Free 
 

Mushroom Festival(Food, crafts, carnival, music, parade and tribute to mushrooms, including largest morel contest), 6 p.m. Thursday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the historic town square, corner of Main and Thornton, Richmond, Mo. Admission: Free
