The Weekend To-Do List: July 3-7, 2013

Looking for an explosive way to celebrate your holiday weekend? Brian McTavish has some sparkling choices for you on the Weekend To-Do List. 

KC Riverfest (Area’s largest Fourth of July fireworks show), 4 to 11 p.m. Thursday at Berkley Riverfront Park, Grand Boulevard and Riverfront Road. Admission: $5; free for ages 12 and younger 

2013 U.S. Trampoline and Tumbling Championships (Gymnastics competition), Thursday through July 10 at Municipal Auditorium, 301 W. 13th. Admission: $16 ($45 all sessions); free for ages 6 and younger

Red, White & Boom Concert with Carly Rae Jepsen (Pop music), 5 p.m. Friday at Starlight Theatre in Swope Park. Tickets: $15 to $95 

The Fleshtones (Garage rock), 9 p.m. Saturday at Knuckleheads, 2715 Rochester. Tickets: $12 

Brett Michaels (Former front man for ’80s hair-metal band Poison), doors open at 7 p.m. Wednesday at CrossroadsKC, 417 E. 18th. Tickets: $30 to $76
