  • Lynsey Addario contributes to The New York TimesTime Magazine, and National Geographic. Her new book is It's What I Do: A Photographer's Life of Love and War

To hear more from Ashley Gilbertson, he will present his photo-series Bedrooms of the Fallenat the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art Auditorium at 6 p.m., Thursday, April 30th.

When I host Up To Date each morning at 9, my aim is to engage the community in conversations about the Kansas City area’s challenges, hopes and opportunities. I try to ask the questions that listeners want answered about the day’s most pressing issues and provide a place for residents to engage directly with newsmakers.
