Kansas City, MO – At news time, the Kansas Senate and House were still more than $20 million apart on what they would offer in response to a court order for more school funding. House leaders were still trying to force amending any proposal to be contingent on an amendment to limit court powers. As the chambers argued on, Attorney General Phill Kline asked the Kansas Supreme Court to extend the deadline.
