Hundreds Rally For Repeal Of Health Care Act At State Capitol

Two rallies in Jefferson City called for the repeal of the 2010 Affordable Care Act and for employers to have the right to not provide coverage for birth control. Several hundred people attended the rally held at the State Capitol, led by several religious leaders. 

Kansas House OKs Constitutional Amendment Aimed At School Funding Lawsuit

The Kansas House has advanced a constitutional amendment aimed at blocking an upcoming lawsuit over school funding. The amendment says courts can’t force the Legislature to spend money. The bill is a reaction to a previous school funding lawsuit.  Listen to the story here.
