Carmel, IND – Two weeks ago, Tom Watson was an eight-foot putt away from making history. In the final round of the British Open, the 59-year old Stilwell, Kansas resident needed a par putt on the final hole to become the oldest pro golfer ever to win a major championship. Though Watson missed the putt, his performance catapulted him back into golf's limelight. This week, Watson is competing in the U-S Senior Open. Kansas Public Radio's Greg Echlin is there, too. And he's finding out that once again Tom Watson is a hot commodity.
