Even though you've seen Christmas decorations for sale at your local shopping club for a month or more, and the "Black Friday" sales have been in effect for a week already, tomorrow actually marks the beginning of the holiday season.

Among the numerous responsibilities many of us face is planning menus. Whether it's that party everyone looks forward to at your house - or the sit-down dinner that gathers family around your table - everyone can use a little help in selecting just the right wine to complement their cuisine.

Today Steve Kraske welcomes the return of Master of Wine and Master Sommelier Doug Frost for some suggestions for your holiday celebrations. Join us as Frost helps pair the right wine for your Thanksgiving meal based in part on our own pairing of wine in our studios with the culinary creations Chef Ted Habiger of Room 39.

Whether you're a fan of red or white or something in-between, you're sure to find a good recommendation from Doug Frost, whose mantra sits well with all of us: "A good wine is one you like."

Today's Wine Selections from Master Sommelier and Master of Wine Doug Frost:

Pol Roger Champagne
"Pannota" 2007 Rhenhessen Riesling barrel sample (not available in stores)
