Slammed! Reveals Stories of Uncertain Times

Local resident Valerie Phillips is interviewed by Kelly Gibson, MFA Acting student, and Stephanie Roberts, UMKC Assistant Professor of Physical Theatre, August 2009.
A new theatre production called Slammed! explores the impact of the recession through the eyes of local residents. It's inspired by the documentary theatre style of Anna Deveare Smith and the oral histories of Studs Terkel.
