Shaping The Corporate Landscape With Conscious Capitalism
It's the new buzzword phrase, but just what is conscious capitalism?
In the second part of Thursday's Up to Date, we'll talk with Raj Sisodia, who alongside Whole Foods co-CEO John Mackey, co-authored the book Conscious Capitalism: Liberating the Heroic Spirit of Business about how particular business practices of companies are shaping corporate culture and the market.

Raj Sisodia was born in India in 1958 and is married with three children. He was educated as an electrical engineer from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS, Pilani). He pursued an MBA in Marketing from the Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies in Mumbai after which he earned a Ph.D. in Marketing and Business Policy from Columbia University. Until 1998, he was Director of Executive Programs and Associate Professor of Marketing at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia. From 1985 to 1988, he was Assistant Professor of Marketing at Boston University. He is an American citizen residing in Lexington, Massachusetts.
