Kansas City, Missouri, officials continue to move forward with plans for expansion of the city's streetcar system. In the weeks to come voters will weigh in on a one percent sales tax to pay for the extension. As the city prepares to send ballots out to voters in the transportation development district on May 1, we asked what the chances are for landing millions of dollars in federal funding, and what the alternatives would be if that money doesn't come through.
