School districts battle over tax for education

KANSAS CITY, Kan. – At the first of the year Johnson County began collecting a sales tax chiefly to benefit school districts in the county. Districts in neighboring Wyandotte County have voiced concern by suing to stop the tax, which they say would emphasize inequities in school funding across Kansas. K-C-U-R's Frank Morris reports.
