Musical Theatre with Greek Roots Premieres in Lawrence

This week, the University of Kansas theater department in Lawrence premieres a new musical, The Girl, The Grouch and The Goat: A Modern Fable, that includes the Tony Award-winning composer of "Urinetown."

Kansas City, MO – As KCUR's Steve Walker reports, the musical has roots that stretch backward from last summer's festival of new musicals in Kansas City to ancient Greece.
