Jorge Garcia Almodovar grew up in New Jersey, and studied art and lived in New York City for a decade before moving to Kansas City in 2002. In his work, Almodovar combines a variety of materials, including wood, plastics, and aluminum. By Laura Spencer

Kansas City, MO – Almodovar is now winding up a one?year residency in one of the two emerging artist spaces at Review Studios with an exhibition called Looped Symmetry. Here, the artist talks about the new series of sculptural works exploring symmetrical patterns and music and the move to Kansas City.

The exhibition Looped Symmetry continues through February 15th at the Review Studios Exhibition Space at 1708 Campbell in downtown Kansas City.
