KANSAS CITY, Mo. – In a productive afternoon yesterday, Kansas City, Missouri's new mayor and city council continued to replace discord at City Hall with harmony and cooperation.
The Mayor's son Kyle James seemed to have a less harmonious time. The Kansas City Star reports the 22 year old was handcuffed after a disturbance and trying to leave without paying at a restaurant in the Power and Light district.
Federal investigators believe a man who robbed a Johnson County bank this week is the same person who's robbed six other banks since May.
About 3,000 people in Kansas and Missouri are waiting for a needed organ transplant.
Kansas State University researchers say "rumble strips" running down the middle of two-lane roads have helped decrease accidents by 46 percent.
