KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The U-S Army Corps of Engineers is catching flak for sending out letters to farmers along the flooded Missouri River, gauging their interest in selling their lands to the federal government for wildlife restoration.

Missouri general revenue collections were up in Fiscal Year 2011.

Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon has a measure make it easier for adopted adults to get information about biological parents who died without agreeing to be identified.

The Senate Agriculture Committee will hold a hearing in Kansas next month to take testimony on the 2012 farm bill.
