KC History: Americans by Choice

Jan 5, 2012

Coming up Friday on the Walt Bodine Show, we'll take a look at "Americans by Choice," an exhibit that tells the history of immigration and naturalization in the state of Kansas.

KC history host Monroe Dodd returns to talk with Daniel Serda of KU’s Urban Planning Department and Jean Svadlenak of Svadlenak Museum Consulting.

The exhibit includes personal stories from individuals spanning from the late 1800s to present day.

The exhibit "Americans by Choice: The Story of Immigration and Citizenship in Kansas," is on the 6th floor of the Robert J. Dole Federal Courthouse, located at 500 State Ave., KCK. Free parking is available across the street.
