KC CURRENTS 11-5-06 Missouri Elections Special

By Sylvia Maria Gross, Alex Smith and KCUR News

Kansas City, MO – Reports on some of the important races in Tuesday's election in Missouri: Stem Cell Research (Amendment 2), Minimum Wage (Proposition B), Tobacco Tax (Amendment 3), US Representative 5th District (Emanuel Cleaver-Jacob Turk), State Auditor (Sandra Thomas-Susan Montee), and Light Rail (KC Question 2). Plus, Missouri Democrats begin to employ the same high-tech get-out-the-vote methods that Republicans have been using for several years. And Freedom, Incorporated President Mark Bryant discusses the political club's plans for next week's election, and Freedom's current influence on Kansas City's African American voters.

In between stories, hear the opinions of some Kansas Citians as they consider their choices in Tuesday's election.
