Kansas City, Missouri – Kansas Congressman Dennis Moore is doing what he has always done in his campaigns, talking with his constituents about their concerns. But his challenger for the 3rd Congressional seat is doing something different. State Senator Nick Jordan - who ran unopposed in the primary - is focusing on economics and energy rather than social issues. The hope is Republican moderates, many known as RINO's, or Republicans in Name Only, will come back to the party and vote for Jordan in a district they say should have belonged to a Republican all along.

I partner with communities to uncover the ignored or misrepresented stories by listening and letting communities help identify and shape a narrative. My work brings new voices, sounds, and an authentic sense of place to our coverage of the Kansas City region. My goal is to tell stories on the radio, online, on social media and through face to face conversations that enhance civic dialogue and provide solutions.
