Incumbents Dominate Missouri Congressional Races

The incumbent Congressmen in the local area easily held on to their seats: Vicky Hartzler, Emanuel Cleaver and Sam Graves.   We have the complete results for those races and the rest of Missouri.

Area Races:

U.S. Representative – District 4

Incumbent U.S. Rep. Vicky Hartzler has defeated Democratic challenger Teresa Hensley to win a second term representing Missouri's 4th Congressional District, which includes rural counties south of Kansas City

Vicky Hartzler (R) 60.3%

Teresa Hensley (D) 35.5%

Missouri’s 5th District Congressman Emanuel Cleaver got 60 percent of the vote and an easy win over Republican opponent Jacob Turk.

Republican Rep. Sam Graves has won a seventh term in Washington.  Graves topped Democrat Kyle Yarber of Gladstone by nearly 33 points.  Graves is a farmer and chairs the House Small Business Committee.
