Master Sommelier Doug Frost and Chef Ted Habiger pair new and traditional holiday food choices with the perfect wines.
Your holiday menu is probably nearing completion: a turkey, possibly some sweet potatoes... a bit of stuffing.... pumpkin pie for dessert? Or perhaps you're planning on creating a new tradition of different food choices.
But what drinks should you pair with the food? Are you concerned about the economy putting a crimp in your shopping plans this year? We've got the fix for every holiday beverage choice this year.
Host Steve Kraske sat down with wine consultant and writer Doug Frost, one of three people in the world to hold the dual designation Master Sommelier and Master of Wine. They searched for the right wine for your Thanksgiving meal based in part on the pairing of wine in our studios with the culinary creations Chef Ted Habiger of Room 39.
