Kansas City, MO – It's been two decades since the U.S. Supreme Court issued its first ruling in a 'right-to-die' case. Nancy Beth Cruzan was a young woman from Carterville, Missouri who never regained consciousness after a car accident. Her story, and the court battles that ensued over her fate, captured national attention...and sparked a public dialogue about how we live, about how we die. Today, health leaders, ethicists, and others are still examining the issues raised by the Cruzan case. And as KCUR's Elana Gordon reports, there's still a lot to talk about.
