Celebrating The Birthday Of Richard 'Groove' Holmes

This week on 12th Street Jump we celebrate the birthday of Richard “Groove” Holmes with our special guest Everett DeVan.

Richard Arnold "Groove" Holmes is considered a precursor of acid jazz for his hard bob and soul jazz organ performances. His best known work is "Misty"

On the funny side of things, we play “Who’s Got the Blues,” where we improvise a jam for Everett on the spot, and later Dr. Pearl helps Camilla in London with some royal pains.
