Kansas City, MO – Resting Places Living Things: Designs by Michael Cross runs October 18, 2008 - February 1, 2009 in the Bloch Building's Project Space of the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art. On Friday, October 18, at 7 pm in the Atkins Auditorium, designers Michael Cross and May Tveit, Associate Professor of Industrial Design, University of Kansas, discuss "the first line between art and design" in an interactive dialogue, entitled Artist's Talk Resting, Living, Making, Being: Michael Cross and Contemporary Design.
