Kansas City, MO – In his run for the U.S. Senate seat being vacated by Missouri's Christopher Bond, Congressman Roy Blunt is pushing private sector jobs creation.

The Republican candidate was touring the state, picking up the endorsement of the Missouri and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

At Kansas City's Union Station he said-- I don't know that it means anything in terms of money, but I'm glad to have it. I'm glad to have the Farm Bureau endorsement, the National Federation of Independent Business and particularly today the state chamber and the national chamber. I think they believe, as I do, that the priority here is what do you do to encourage private sector job creation.' "
According to Blunt, businesses fear expanding because of policies of the Obama administration and Congress.

You would hardly know Secretary of State Robin Carnahan was his Democratic opponent. He mentioned her a scant handful of times, the President and Congress getting multiple references.
