Kansas City, MO – If the promise of spring has inspired you to spend some time outside, one local group hopes warmer weather will inspire you take one step further and commute by bike. The Clean Commute Project is offering free loans of bicycles to any UMKC student, faculty or staff member. The project is funded by the Missouri Department of Transportation, which got it started by buying 52 new bikes to loan out. KC Currents' Alex Smith spoke with Beau Baker and Kat Dyson about how the project came about and progress so far.
