This week, artists whose site-specific works (like Johnny Naugahyde's Rainbow House) are displayed along Central Avenue in downtown Kansas City...and a farce combines Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest with Three's Company.

Kansas City, MO – This week, artists whose site-specific works are displayed along Central Avenue in downtown Kansas City as part of this year's Avenue of the Arts...and a farce combining elements of Oscar Wilde's The Importance of Being Earnest with the 1970s and early 80s sitcom Three's Company. The Importance of Being Three's Company opens tonight at the Late Night Theatre at 1531 Main and runs through June 14th.

The public celebration of the 2003 Avenue of the Arts will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday. Avenue of the Arts is administered by the Municipal Arts Commission, CDFM2and the Downtown Council.
