This week, a new play called Quid Pro Quo premieres in Overland Park - it was written by a deaf playwright for both deaf and hearing audiences; Kansas City artist Max Key displays his large-scale decorative oil paintings, influenced by interior d?cor of earlier decades; and surface design takes over at 50 area galleries in conjunction with this year's Surface Design Association Conference.
