Kansas City, MO – Artist Renee LaFerriere uses sculpture, tattooing, and real pig skin in her new exhibit at the Byron Cohen Gallery. Also, Kansas City record label Second Nature signs the band, Ilya, who get comparisons to Bjork and Portishead, and Kansas City author James McKinley reads from his new novel, A Woman In the River: A Tale of Abortion, Friday night at Bloomsday Books.
