Global environmental concerns, like pollution, water sustainability, and dependence on oil are all issues that have been percolating for artist Mark Cowardin over the past decade. For Cowardin, the delicate balance between humans and nature is something he grapples with each day.
Kansas City, MO – For Mark Cowardin, the delicate balance between humans and nature is something he grapples with each day.
The exhibition "Mark Cowardin:(F) Utilities" runs through January 14, 2011 (by appointment only) at Avila University's Thornhill Gallery, located on the southeast corner of Avila's campus near the Oak Street entrance in Dallavis Center.
Cowardin's work is also in the collection of the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at Johnson County Community College.
