The Patty Cahill Endowment for Local News

(Make Your Secure Pledge Here.)

Over the course of her 25-year tenure as the general manager of KCUR, Patty Cahill was deeply devoted to building a talented team to cover and report local news throughout the station’s listening area. As a result, KCUR has reporters covering news beats ranging from arts and culture to health policy and local legislatures. KCUR’s reporters file local news stories that often find their way to the national networks as well as to newspapers and websites all over our region.

Upon Patty’s retirement, KCUR’s Community Advisory Board launched an initiative to honor Patty’s leadership and to create a legacy to support KCUR’s area of journalism that is closest to her heart. The Patty Cahill Endowment for Local News is designed to provide ongoing support for KCUR’s news team and all of the
station’s locally produced programs.

Your contribution to The Patty Cahill Endowment for Local News will help sustain the work KCUR does every day to run down developing stories about state and local government, analyze matters of health care and health policy and to explore the depth and breadth of arts and cultural activities serving citizens throughout our region.

From all of us at KCUR, thank you for your generous support of the Cahill Endowment. To be a part of KCUR’s future and support the goals of the Cahill Endowment, make your secure pledge here.
