Phone hacking and bribing police are just a couple of the scandals that have come to light about Rupert Murdoch’s vast media empire.

NPR media correspondent David Folkenflik is the author of 'Murdoch's World: The Last of the Old Media Empires.'

We talk about Murdoch’s control of American outlets such as Fox News and The Wall Street Journal and look at the ongoing legal trials of his hand-picked News of the World editors in the United Kingdom.
